Our Strategies

The strategic goals for NTPCT fall into 6 groups.

Each strategic goal is aligned with the others and success for one will be heavily dependent on success for the others.

1. Health

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) To develop a dedicated Pasifika health service

  b) To develop a better understand the health and wellbeing requirements of our community.

2. Education

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) To provide linkages between Education Providers and our community

  b) Ensure students make the most of opportunities for education

  c) Develop an Education Plan.

3. Social Services

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) Understand the current community needs and current social services provision.

  b) To develop collaborative relationships with current service providers.

  c) To establish a Pasifika Service

4. Economic Development (Employment)

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) Understand the relationship between employment and our community.

  b) To Develop a plan to create employment opportunities

  c) Ensure employers are culturally aware

  d) To identify and support Pasifika businesses.

5. Housing

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) Understand housing requirements in our community.

  b) To Develop a Housing Plan

  c) To ensure Pasifika representation among other housing services.

6. Trust Development

• Strategic Outcomes:

  a) To become a strong and viable NGO

  b) To develop strong leadership and governance

  c) To build and strengthen relationships internally within our community and externally with other agencies and Government.
